WRAITH

Cinemavixion Review

Michael O. Sajbel's "Wraith" delves into the unsettling territory of familial hauntings, presenting a narrative that blurs the lines between spectral presence and burgeoning life. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of creeping dread within the confines of an old mansion, where a family grapples with financial hardship and isolation. As a mysterious spirit, the "Wraith," seeks connection and protection, the story unfolds into a supernatural thriller. The presence of seasoned actors like Jackson Hurst, Ali Hillis, and Lance Henriksen lends a grounding gravitas to the ethereal proceedings. While the film may not shy away from familiar haunted house tropes, its exploration of loneliness and the desperate need for belonging offers a compelling, if chilling, reflection on what it means to be part of a family. "Wraith" is a spectral encounter that lingers, inviting contemplation long after the credits roll.
