WITHOUT A BODY

Cinemavixion Review

Harvey Lowry's "Without a Body" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered on a skeptical author and his two daughters who move into a dilapidated farmhouse. As they settle in, the author finds himself compelled to confront a sinister history that appears to be actively haunting their new home and terrorizing his family. The film, released in 2017, stars Jack Campbell, Grace Stedman, and Catherine Kresge, who deliver performances that attempt to navigate the escalating dread. While the premise promises a descent into supernatural horror, the execution, as reflected in its modest critical reception, may leave some audiences wanting more. Nevertheless, for those intrigued by atmospheric haunted house tales with a psychological edge, "Without a Body" offers a glimpse into a family's struggle against an unseen, malevolent force.
