WITCHING HOUR

Cinemavixion Review

"Witching Hour" delves into the unsettling psychological territory of paranoia and delusion, anchored by a compelling premise. The narrative, centered on two college roommates and a mysterious antique clock, effectively builds suspense as one character's reality begins to fracture. The performances, particularly from Emily Johnson-Erday and Reanna Roane, are crucial in portraying the escalating tension and the chilling descent into the unknown. While the film may not boast blockbuster budgets, its strength lies in its focused exploration of fear and the fragility of perception. Directors Ken Comito, Melanie Comito, and Victoria King craft an atmosphere that is both intimate and unnerving, making this a noteworthy entry for fans of supernatural thrillers that prioritize psychological dread over overt spectacle.
