WITCH HOUSE: THE LEGEND OF BLACK HOWE MOOR

Cinemavixion Review

Mike McCarthy's "Witch House: The Legend of Black Howe Moor" plunges viewers into the grim heart of 17th-century England, where the chilling decree 'Thou shall not suffer a witch to live' sets a tone of pervasive dread. The narrative artfully draws a parallel between the historical witch trials and a modern-day haunting, suggesting that ancient injustices continue to echo through time. The film's strength lies in its atmospheric evocation of terror, linking a 'common link with the past' to a supernatural retribution. While specific details on its critical reception or awards are not available, the premise promises a compelling exploration of historical trauma and supernatural consequence, inviting audiences to contemplate the enduring power of fear and accusation across centuries.
