WILD GALAPAGOS - TRAPPED IN PARADISE

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, 'Wild Galapagos - Trapped in Paradise', plunges viewers into the extraordinary evolutionary crucible of the Galapagos Islands. It highlights the remarkable adaptations of endemic species, from the resilient penguins and marine iguanas to the ancient tortoises and flightless cormorants, all shaped by millions of years of isolation and a challenging environment. The film particularly zeroes in on the fascinating, and perhaps most peculiar, adaptation found in the Vampire Finch, offering a glimpse into nature's ingenious solutions for survival. Narrated by Paterson Joseph, this 2017 production by Thomas Behrend serves as a compelling study of life's tenacity and diversification in one of the planet's most unique ecosystems.
