WILD DAZE

Cinemavixion Review

Phyllis Stuart's "Wild Daze" (2020) is a powerful and urgent documentary that plunges viewers into the heart of Africa's complex conservation crisis. The film masterfully weaves together the grim realities of international crime cartels, the exploitation of child soldiers, and the complicity of corrupt government officials, all inextricably linked to the illegal wildlife trade. Featuring conservation luminaries such as Dr. Jane Goodall, alongside perspectives from those involved in trophy hunting, "Wild Daze" offers a multifaceted and unflinching look at the threats facing the continent's vanishing wildlife. Filmed across nine countries, the documentary underscores the profound connection between the survival of African wildlife and the health of the entire planet, revealing the unvarnished truth about humanity's often destructive relationship with nature. With an IMDb rating of 8.3, this film is a compelling call to action for anyone concerned about the future of our natural world.
