WILD AMERICA: RINGTAILED RASCALS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, "WILD AMERICA: RINGTAILED RASCALS," directed by Marty Stouffer, delves into the fascinating world of animals distinguished by their unique markings. The narrative questions our fascination with these patterns, suggesting they enhance our ability to identify and anthropomorphize creatures like the Jaguar, Skunk, Raccoon, Coatimundi, and Ringtail. While we readily recognize the Raccoon and often attribute playful or mischievous qualities due to its mask, the film also explores its lesser-known relatives: the elongated Coatimundi and the fox-like Ringtail. Stouffer's work probes whether these captivating creatures truly embody the spirit of "RINGTAILED RASCALS," inviting viewers to appreciate the distinct personalities and visual allure of these wild animals.
