Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the enduring human fascination with horns and antlers, exploring their biological distinctions—permanent horns versus annually shed antlers—and their evolutionary significance. The film highlights the Pronghorn Antelope's unique forked horns as a potential bridge between these two forms. It examines the vital and often surprising roles these natural adornments play in the animal kingdom, while also touching upon their historical and cultural importance to humankind, as evidenced by prehistoric displays. Narrated by Marty Stouffer, the 1985 production offers a glimpse into the natural world's most striking cranial features.
