WILD AMERICA: EVERGREEN

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, "WILD AMERICA: EVERGREEN," delves into the profound significance of evergreen trees within the American wilderness. Released in 1990 and narrated by Marty Stouffer, the film highlights these trees not just as ancient, towering entities, but as vital ecosystems providing shelter and sustenance for countless species of birds and mammals. The narrative also traces the historical and cultural connection, linking the enduring presence of evergreens to the origins of the Christmas tree tradition and their symbolism of luck and resilience. It's a gentle exploration of nature's constants and their deep roots in both the natural world and human customs.
