WHY WE FIGHT: THE FAMOUS WWII FILM THAT EXPLAINED THE WAR

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, "Why We Fight," delves into the historical roots of Nazi Germany's ambitions, tracing a line back to Otto Von Bismarck in 1863. Produced during World War II, it serves as a public information film designed to articulate the conflict's origins and the escalating threat of German expansionism across Europe. The narrative effectively connects early geopolitical machinations to the full-blown conflagration of the war, offering a wartime perspective on the motivations behind the Axis powers' aggression. It's a valuable historical artifact that sheds light on the propaganda efforts and ideological underpinnings used to rally support and understanding during a critical period in global history.
