WHY SCANDINAVIA WAS SUCH AN IMPORTANT ASSET IN WW2

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the precarious position of Scandinavia at the dawn of World War II. As the continent descended into conflict, the Nordic nations maintained a stance of neutrality, a precarious peace that was ultimately shattered. The film effectively illustrates how the strategic importance of these countries, particularly in terms of resources and geography, made them targets for the warring powers. It explores the complex geopolitical pressures that led to the violation of Scandinavian neutrality, offering a compelling look at a often-overlooked theater of the war. The narrative highlights the critical role these nations played, not by choice but by circumstance, in the global struggle.
