WHY DO PEOPLE BELIEVE ANCIENT CIVILIZATION WAS FOUNDED BY ALIENS?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary-style exploration delves into the persistent fascination with ancient astronaut theories. Hosted by James Carson, the film critically examines the origins and enduring appeal of the idea that extraterrestrial beings influenced early human civilizations. Carson thoughtfully navigates through popular myths, from the construction of monumental ancient wonders to legendary lost cities like Atlantis, questioning the foundations of these beliefs. By drawing connections to influential figures and works, such as Erich von Däniken's prolific writings and the cosmic tales of H.P. Lovecraft, the program probes whether these narratives are mere entertainment or indicative of deeper cultural anxieties. It encourages viewers to critically assess the evidence and motivations behind the widespread acceptance of such extraordinary claims, ultimately posing the question: what does the enduring popularity of these theories reveal about us?
