WHY ARE THERE MYSTERIOUS HUMAN REMAINS NEAR THIS IRON AGE SETTLEMENT? | TIME TEAM | ODYSSEY

Cinemavixion Review

In the Somerset Levels, Time Team embarks on an investigation of an Iron Age settlement, initially appearing to be an ancient walkway. However, the unexpected discovery of human remains profoundly shifts the focus, introducing an element of mystery and intrigue. This revelation prompts a critical re-evaluation of the site's true purpose, transforming a potential historical path into a site laden with unanswered questions about ritual, burial, or perhaps a more sinister history. The series adeptly uses archaeological evidence to explore these possibilities, inviting viewers to piece together the narrative alongside the team. It's a compelling journey into the past, highlighting how a single discovery can dramatically alter our understanding of ancient life and death.
