Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the disturbing case of Daniel Bartlam, a 14-year-old who committed a horrific crime against his own mother. The narrative unfolds with a chilling initial deception, as Bartlam attempts to frame an intruder for the murder. However, the discovery of a meticulously crafted soap-opera script within his room serves as the central piece of evidence, revealing the extent of his elaborate planning and the disturbing parallel between his fictional narratives and the brutal reality of his actions. The program forces viewers to confront the complex psychological landscape of a young perpetrator, questioning the influences and motivations behind such an extreme act of violence within a family setting.
