WHO WERE THE REAL WINNERS AND LOSERS OF WORLD WAR II

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a compelling, albeit brief, exploration of the pivotal figures who shaped the tumultuous 20th century. While not delving into the traditional 'winners and losers' of the global conflict, it wisely focuses on the personal and political trajectories of influential leaders. The narrative touches upon the profound impact of Franklin D. Roosevelt's death, Winston Churchill's surprising electoral defeat despite wartime victory, and the tragic ends of Adolf Hitler and Mahatma Gandhi. Harry S. Truman's ascension to the presidency is also highlighted, underscoring the seismic shifts in global power and ideology. The film serves as a concise yet thought-provoking reminder of the complex legacies left by these individuals and the profound consequences of their actions on the course of history.
