WHITE TERROR

Cinemavixion Review

Lok Kwan Woo's 2020 psychological thriller, "White Terror," plunges viewers into a disorienting narrative centered on Bella, a young woman haunted by the home invasion that claimed her parents. The film masterfully blurs the lines between past and present as Bella finds herself trapped in a recurring loop within a stark white room. This existential chamber becomes the crucible for her to unravel the mystery of her trauma and confront the profound questions of life, death, and the ethics of mercy killing. Drawing inspiration from the cerebral anthology series "Black Mirror," "White Terror" is a film that demands a second viewing to fully appreciate its intricate twists and turns. While the external data notes a 4.2 rating on IMDb, the film's true power lies in its ability to leave an emotional and philosophical mark, challenging audiences long after the credits roll.
