WE FOUND SOMETHING

Cinemavixion Review

For aficionados of found-footage horror, "We Found Something" offers a taut and claustrophobic descent into primal fear. Director Jesse Heisel plunges the audience directly into the escalating terror experienced by a group of hikers, whose attempt to conquer a fear of heights quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival against a sinister, unknown entity lurking in the wilderness. The film's commitment to a first-person perspective is its strongest asset, immersing viewers in the raw panic and disorientation of the protagonists. While drawing comparisons to genre stalwarts like "The Blair Witch Project" and "Cloverfield," "We Found Something" carves out its own niche, presenting a nightmarish scenario with visceral immediacy. Despite a modest IMDb rating, the film's effective use of suspense and its relentless focus on the characters' plight make it a compelling watch for those seeking a heart-pounding horror experience.
