警察の監視

Cinemavixion Review

Roberto Infascelli directs this intense 1973 crime thriller, "警察の監視" (Police Surveillance). Set in a Northern Italian city, the film follows Cardone, a determined detective spearheading an investigation into a criminal organization specializing in kidnappings. Cardone's uncompromising methods create friction within the force, a tension that escalates dramatically when his own son becomes a victim of a kidnapping. The narrative masterfully weaves together the pursuit of justice with the raw instinct for personal vengeance, pushing Cardone to the brink as he confronts impossible choices. Enrico Maria Salerno leads the cast, supported by Lee J. Cobb and Jean Sorel, in a film that delves into the dark corridors of crime and the profound personal stakes involved in upholding the law.
