WARLOCK : THE ARMAGEDDON

Cinemavixion Review

Anthony Hickox's 'Warlock: The Armageddon' plunges viewers into a supernatural battle for the fate of the world. Released in 1993, this sequel sees Julian Sands reprising his role as the demonic Warlock, a son of Satan tasked with gathering mystical stones to unleash his father and bring about the end times. The narrative weaves a compelling tale of good versus evil, as a secret order of druids emerges to thwart the Warlock's apocalyptic plans, training two young teens to be their champions. Despite a challenging reception, including a 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the film offers a unique blend of dark fantasy and horror elements. Its modest box office performance belies the ambitious scope of its mythology, exploring themes of destiny and the eternal struggle against malevolent forces. For fans of supernatural thrillers, 'Warlock: The Armageddon' provides a distinctive, albeit grim, cinematic experience.
