WAKE THE DEAD

Cinemavixion Review

Michael Luceri's 'Wake the Dead' plunges viewers into a chilling exploration of the supernatural, anchored by a compelling performance from Nadia Gillespie as Kristin. The film masterfully weaves a tale of a woman grappling with a terrifying connection to the spirit world following a near-death experience. As Kristin and her fiancé attempt to build a new life, they are ensnared by the malevolent forces within their new home, unearthing a dark past that refuses to stay buried. The narrative skillfully builds suspense, drawing audiences into Kristin's struggle to resist the encroaching evil. While the film may not boast extensive accolades, its taut atmosphere and commitment to its horror premise make it a noteworthy entry for fans of the genre seeking a suspenseful and unnerving cinematic journey.
