VIRUS SHARK

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Virus Shark,' director Mark Polonia plunges audiences into a chilling aquatic nightmare where a single bite triggers a global pandemic. This sci-fi horror hybrid masterfully blends the claustrophobia of a deep-sea research facility with the primal terror of a relentless predator. The narrative tightens its grip as a team of scientists races against an unseen enemy—both within their own ranks and in the surrounding ocean—to develop a cure before humanity succumbs. Steve Diasparra delivers a compelling performance amidst the escalating chaos. While the film grapples with ambitious themes of contagion and survival, its true strength lies in its relentless pacing and effective suspense, making it a worthy, if unsettling, watch for fans of creature features and disaster thrillers.
