This documentary plunges viewers into the harrowing reality of Laos, a nation tragically scarred by the 'Secret War.' With an unflinching gaze, it exposes the pervasive danger of unexploded ordnance, highlighting the country's distinction as the most bombed nation per capita. The narrative centers on Australian bomb disposal specialist Laith Stevens as he undertakes the critical mission of training a new team to handle the immense threat of leftover bombs. Simultaneously, the film poignantly captures the perilous daily reality for local children who risk their lives scavenging for bomb scrap metal.
