VENGEANCE OF THE DEAD

Cinemavixion Review

Don Adams' 2001 horror offering, "Vengeance of the Dead," plunges viewers into the eerie small town of Harvest, where young Eric's visit to his grandfather turns into a supernatural ordeal. The film, clocking in at a lean 72 minutes, explores Eric's unsettling encounters with the spectral Julia and her less-than-benevolent mother. While the narrative hinges on classic ghost story tropes, the execution, as indicated by its IMDb rating of 3.0/10, suggests a film that may struggle to fully capitalize on its atmospheric potential. Despite its modest reception, "Vengeance of the Dead" offers a concise, albeit perhaps uninspired, foray into the supernatural for fans of low-budget horror.
