VENGEANCE

Cinemavixion Review

Richard John Taylor's 'Vengeance' plunges viewers into a gritty narrative of a man seeking retribution for a crime he claims he did not commit. The film masterfully weaves a tale of a father, Eric Williams, forced to confront a past that has haunted him for 27 years when his daughter becomes the victim of a brutal attack. With police inaction as a catalyst, Williams returns to a London he barely recognizes, navigating its shadows with the aid of loyal, albeit few, friends. The performances, particularly from Billy Murray and Leslie Grantham, anchor the film's exploration of justice, loyalty, and the enduring consequences of past deeds. 'Vengeance' offers a compelling, albeit somber, look at the lengths one will go to protect family and find closure in a world that often fails to deliver it.
