Veil of Revenge plunges viewers into the gritty underworld of 1970s Hong Kong, a period rife with corruption under British colonial rule. The narrative follows Rose, a woman driven by a potent desire for vengeance after her father's demise at the hands of drug lord Kun. Sent to Taiwan for safety, Rose returns with a steely resolve, aiming to dismantle the criminal empire and bring Kun and his associates to justice. Her path leads her to infiltrate the operations of another powerful figure, Hao, through an undercover role with the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and Interpol. As Rose delves deeper, a complicated romance blossoms between her and Hao, creating a profound internal conflict between her mission of retribution and her burgeoning feelings.
