VAMPIRUS

Cinemavixion Review

In "Vampirus," director Ryan Ohm presents a contemporary take on the undead mythos, set against the backdrop of the unusual circumstances of the coronavirus quarantine. The film, released in 2022, stars Paisley Blackburn, Eric Brown, and Chanda Davetas in a narrative that sees a young vampire forging an unexpected alliance to navigate the challenges of hunting during a global lockdown. While the film's IMDb rating stands at a modest 4.1, its unique premise offers a blend of horror and comedy, exploring themes of isolation and adaptation within a supernatural framework. "Vampirus" is an intriguing exploration of how even ancient creatures must find new ways to exist in a changing world.
