VAMPIRES ANONYMOUS

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on a darkly comedic journey, "Vampires Anonymous" introduces Vic, a vampire struggling with his primal urges. The film cleverly sidesteps typical vampire lore, opting instead for a quirky premise: a 12-step program for the undead. Vic's relocation to the quiet town of Rock Creek, NC, sets the stage for a delightful clash between supernatural needs and small-town normalcy. As Vic attempts to navigate a new life and a new relationship, the narrative humorously escalates, involving a bewildered Vampire Slayer and increasingly suspicious townsfolk. Michael Keller's direction brings a unique charm to this unconventional story, offering a fresh perspective on the vampire mythos. While the plot details in the local description suggest a more involved narrative than the brief OMDb synopsis, the core concept of a vampire seeking rehabilitation remains consistent, promising an engaging and offbeat viewing experience.
