VAMPARIAH

Cinemavixion Review

VAMPARIAH plunges viewers into a dark, action-packed world where the lines between hunter and hunted blur. Directed by Matthew Abaya, the film introduces us to Mahal, a formidable operative dedicated to eradicating the vampire scourge. The narrative takes a compelling turn when her path crosses with an aswang, a creature deeply rooted in Philippine folklore, adding a unique cultural layer to the familiar vampire trope. This intersection promises a fresh perspective on the supernatural thriller genre, exploring the complexities of duty versus destiny. The film’s premise suggests a thrilling exploration of ancient myths colliding with modern-day heroism, offering a potentially captivating experience for fans of creature features and supernatural action.
