UNRAVELING SANITY | THE MADNESS OF HUMPTY DUMPTY

Cinemavixion Review

This chilling narrative plunges viewers into the disorienting world of a young woman battling early onset schizophrenia. As she retreats to her ancestral countryside home, the boundaries between her fractured psyche and external reality begin to dissolve, amplified by the unsettling presence of a peculiar doll. The film expertly crafts an atmosphere of dread, where everyday surroundings morph into sources of terror. The director navigates the delicate balance between psychological horror and supernatural suggestion with a compelling vision, drawing parallels to the atmospheric tension found in acclaimed films like 'The Babadook' and 'Hereditary.' The haunting cinematography and a dedicated cast amplify the protagonist's descent, making 'The Madness of Humpty Dumpty' a deeply unsettling yet captivating exploration of the human mind under duress. It's a journey into fear that promises an unforgettable and thought-provoking experience.
