UNLEARNING HATRED

Cinemavixion Review

In a world increasingly saturated with divisive rhetoric, "Unlearning Hatred" emerges as a poignant call to introspection and unity. Director Philip Gardiner's 2021 work challenges the prevailing narratives that amplify fear and anger, urging audiences to critically examine the propaganda that fuels societal schisms. The film posits that the antidote to this pervasive negativity lies not in complex solutions, but in a fundamental recalibration of our emotional landscape – a conscious effort to unlearn hatred and relearn the capacity for love. It champions compassion and unity as the cornerstones of a more hopeful future, offering a timely reminder of the power of empathy in navigating our collective challenges.
