UNHINGED RETRIBUTION

Cinemavixion Review

Matthew B.C.'s "Unhinged Retribution" plunges viewers into a harrowing tale of survival that begins with a fateful music festival trip. What unfolds is a chilling descent into terror when four friends, after a violent encounter on their party bus, find themselves stranded and seeking sanctuary at the isolated home of an enigmatic older couple. The initial promise of safety quickly sours as unsettling behaviors from their hosts reveal a far more sinister reality. This independent horror-mystery masterfully builds suspense, transforming a seemingly innocent premise into a claustrophobic fight for survival against an unseen, yet palpable, threat. While the film may not boast mainstream accolades, it delivers a potent and unsettling experience that lingers long after the credits roll, showcasing a knack for atmospheric dread and unexpected twists.
