Cinemavixion Review

In the tense thriller "Unfollower" (2020), director Julie Crisante crafts a narrative that taps into contemporary anxieties surrounding online privacy and personal safety. The film centers on Jo, a fitness instructor whose life takes a terrifying turn when she becomes the target of a relentless cyber-stalker. As the harassment escalates from digital threats to physical danger, Jo must draw upon her physical prowess and burgeoning survival instincts to outwit her pursuer. While the film might not boast a star-studded cast, the performances, particularly from the core actors, effectively convey the escalating fear and determination of the protagonist. "Unfollower" serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities that can arise in our hyper-connected world, offering a suspenseful ride that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
