UNDERNEATH THE SAME MOON

Cinemavixion Review

Bob Wasson's "Underneath the Same Moon" presents a poignant exploration of memory, love, and identity. The narrative centers on a man whose life is thrown into disarray by a coma, erasing five years of his existence and leaving him with a disorienting recollection of purchasing an engagement ring for an ex-girlfriend. Anderson Davis delivers a compelling performance as the protagonist, grappling with the emotional fallout of his fragmented past. Sara Ball and Meg Cashel provide strong support, adding depth to the intricate relationships at play. The film masterfully navigates the complexities of a marriage tested by amnesia, posing profound questions about whether the heart's true connections can transcend the mind's lost memories. This romantic drama offers a thoughtful and engaging cinematic experience, inviting audiences to ponder the enduring power of love and the essence of who we are.
