UNDER THE CRYSTAL DOME

Cinemavixion Review

Cristian Parras's "Under the Crystal Dome" presents a compelling psychological thriller that delves into the fractured psyche of a psychiatrist, Andrew Owens. The narrative skillfully weaves a tale of obsession and buried trauma as Owens investigates the mysterious case of Thomas Burke, a man lost in a dark forest searching for his son. The film excels in its atmospheric tension, drawing the viewer into Owens's increasingly disoriented mental landscape. Caroline Adams, Marvin Adams, and Nathan Ariss deliver performances that underscore the film's exploration of grief and the elusive nature of truth. While the plot offers unexpected revelations, it's the journey into the protagonist's mind that truly captivates, making "Under the Crystal Dome" a thought-provoking watch for fans of suspenseful, character-driven cinema.
