UNCOVERING PREHISTORIC BURIAL SITES BENEATH A LAKE

Cinemavixion Review

Tony Robinson and his archaeological team embark on a challenging excavation in a specially drained Devon reservoir, uncovering a significant prehistoric site on Dartmoor. The series marks its 200th dig with the discovery of a network of ancient monuments and, in a climactic find, the remains of a stone henge. The program vividly portrays the arduous conditions, with archaeologists wading through thick mud to piece together millennia of rituals in a secluded valley. This episode offers a compelling glimpse into Britain's ancient past and serves as a fitting celebration for a milestone in archaeological television programming, highlighting both the historical significance of the findings and the enduring appeal of the show.
