UNA VIDA TRANQUILA

Cinemavixion Review

Claudio Cupellini's "Una vida tranquila" (A Quiet Life) presents a compelling narrative about a man haunted by his violent past. The film delves into the life of an individual who, after amassing power through ruthless acts, finds himself in a precarious position, constantly under threat. The plot thickens when, after fifteen years of presumed death, his past resurfaces, forcing him to confront the consequences of his actions. Set against a backdrop that eventually leads back to Naples, the story is a gripping exploration of guilt, consequence, and the inescapable nature of one's history. The film stars Toni Servillo, Marco D'Amore, and Francesco Di Leva, promising a performance-driven experience that examines the dark side of ambition and the price of a 'quiet life'.
