TWIN CITIES

Cinemavixion Review

Dave Ash's 'Twin Cities' offers a profound and introspective look at the fragility of life and the enduring strength of human connection. The film masterfully navigates the complexities of a marriage under immense strain, as John grapples with a terminal diagnosis while his wife, Emily, battles her own creative and professional demons. The narrative eschews easy answers, instead delving into the raw emotions and existential questions that arise when faced with mortality. Gabriele Angieri and Peter Christian Hansen deliver performances that are both vulnerable and compelling, anchoring the film's emotional core. 'Twin Cities' is a cerebral drama that thoughtfully explores themes of love, loss, and the desperate search for redemption, making it a poignant cinematic experience.
