TRUTH UNSPOKEN

Cinemavixion Review

This short film delves into the complexities of a relationship fractured by infidelity and hidden truths. The narrative centers on Jay and Tracy, a couple whose impending proposal is overshadowed by the revelation of betrayal. However, the secrets run deeper, as Jay harbors his own undisclosed issues, adding layers to their interpersonal drama. The performances by Ebony J. Lewis, Christopher Howard, and Keenyah Hill attempt to capture the raw emotion and tension inherent in such a situation, exploring themes of trust, deception, and the consequences of unspoken feelings within a partnership. While the film navigates familiar territory, its focus on the emotional fallout and the dual nature of secrets offers a compelling, albeit brief, examination of relational dynamics.
