TRUST NO 1

Cinemavixion Review

In "Trust No 1," director Daron Niemerow crafts a taut thriller that delves into the dark underbelly of a small town, anchored by a compelling performance from Douglas Rouillard as Officer Bradley. The narrative, set against the backdrop of the looming Y2K scare and a subsequent decade, expertly weaves a tale of escalating murders that prove to be far more complex than a simple serial killing spree. Rouillard, who also penned the script, brings a grounded intensity to his role, investigating a case that threatens national security when a crucial data drive goes missing. The film excels in its mounting suspense, with a rising body count and a puzzle that refuses to add up, forcing Bradley to confront uncomfortable truths and seek help from his brother. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, its intricate plot and strong central performance make it a noteworthy entry for fans of conspiracy thrillers.
