TRUMP'S UNCONVENTIONAL PATH TO THE WHITE HOUSE: HOW FAKE NEWS AND LIES HELPED WIN AN ELECTION

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the intricate and often unsettling mechanics behind Donald Trump's ascent to the presidency. It meticulously traces a path to power engineered by a clandestine ultra-conservative faction, highlighting the strategic deployment of "fake news" and calculated deception. The film uncovers the pivotal role of billionaire Robert Mercer, who acquired Breitbart News and orchestrated the insertion of Steve Bannon into the Trump campaign. A significant focus is placed on Cambridge Analytica's controversial use of vast datasets, including personal information harvested from social media and financial institutions. By employing psychometric profiling and "dark posts" on Facebook, the operation targeted voters identified as susceptible, delivering personalized, manipulative messages designed to sway the election. The documentary posits a chilling narrative where advanced data tactics and psychological manipulation ultimately overshadowed democratic processes.
