TROY THE ODISSEY

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on a journey inspired by Homer's timeless epic, 'Troy the Odissey' presents a unique, albeit unconventional, interpretation. As curated by the Bizzarro Madhouse channel, this 2017 release delves into the grotesque and absurd, positioning itself within the realm of cult B-movies. Director Tekin Girgin, alongside actors Dylan Vox, Lara Heller, and Hachem Hicham, seems to lean into a low-budget aesthetic, aiming for the 'so bad, it's good' territory that has garnered devoted followings worldwide. While its connection to the original myth may be tenuous, the film promises a twisted, mind-blowing experience for those who appreciate the delightfully weird and the delightfully non-ordinary. For fans of cult cinema seeking something truly off the beaten path, 'Troy the Odissey' offers a free, legal, and undeniably unconventional viewing opportunity.
