TRINITY

Cinemavixion Review

Skip Shea's "Trinity" (2016) is a harrowing descent into the lingering shadows of childhood trauma. The film masterfully navigates the psychological landscape of its protagonist, whose accidental encounter with a former abuser at a coffee shop ignites a painful, yet cathartic, journey through repressed memories. Sean Carmichael, David Graziano, and Anthony Ambrosino deliver raw and compelling performances, anchoring the narrative with palpable emotional weight. While the film's runtime is a brisk 84 minutes, it packs a significant punch, exploring themes of guilt, redemption, and the enduring impact of abuse. Garnering critical acclaim with 4 wins and 11 nominations, and an impressive 8.4 rating on IMDb, "Trinity" stands as a testament to Shea's courageous storytelling and the power of confronting one's past, however dark the path may be.
