In 'Triassic World,' director Dylan Vox presents a B-movie premise with a decidedly high-concept twist: dinosaurs, resurrected through questionable science, are repurposed as organ farms for human transplants. This ethically dubious endeavor, however, predictably goes awry when the genetically enhanced creatures prove nearly indestructible and escape their confines. The film, released in 2018, stars Shellie Arizu Sterling, Hayley J Williams, and Joseph Michael Harris, who find themselves in a desperate fight for survival against their own creations. While the narrative treads familiar ground of man versus beast, the unique biological angle offers a fresh, albeit campy, take on the genre. 'Triassic World' leans into its pulpy origins, delivering a thrilling, if somewhat predictable, creature feature that is sure to entertain fans of the genre looking for a straightforward, action-packed escape.
