TREASURE OF PAINTED FOREST

Cinemavixion Review

Scott Hylton's 2006 adventure "Treasure Of Painted Forest" offers a spirited, albeit modest, family-friendly tale. The film centers on a group of youngsters engaged in paintball battles, whose territorial dispute over a cherished forest escalates into a larger conflict. Their plight intensifies as they discover the woods are the rumored resting place of a hidden gold treasure, sought by a pair of opportunistic thieves, and are further complicated by local bullies. The narrative weaves together themes of environmental protection, friendship, and the clash between youthful idealism and adult greed. While not a blockbuster, the film provides a straightforward plot with a clear moral compass, making it an accessible watch for younger audiences and families looking for a lighthearted adventure with a touch of historical intrigue surrounding the Indian burial mound.
