Cinemavixion Review
This documentary, 'Treasure of Lima: A Buried Exhibition,' delves into the complex identity of Isla del Coco. It artfully juxtaposes the romantic allure of buried pirate riches with the island's profound significance as a natural sanctuary deserving of preservation. The film skillfully plays with the enduring 'treasure island' mythos, prompting viewers to consider different modes of observation and ownership. Ultimately, it poses a compelling question about the power of an exhibition to forge its own narrative legacy.
