TRAPEZE OF THE HEART

Cinemavixion Review

In "Trapeze of the Heart," director (unknown) crafts a visually rich period drama set against the evocative backdrop of an early 1900s London circus. The narrative follows Josef, a man seeking refuge from past trauma in the high-wire artistry of the circus. Haunted by the disappearance of his friend Peter, Josef finds himself drawn to Alice, a mesmerizing trapeze artist, and her father's struggling circus. While initially taking on menial roles, Josef harbors a profound ambition: to join Alice in the aerial ballet, seeking both love and redemption amongst the dizzying heights. The film delves into themes of loss, ambition, and the pursuit of dreams, using the unique circus setting to amplify the emotional stakes of its characters.
