TRANSYLVANIA - BEAUTY AND RICH CULTURE

Cinemavixion Review

This three-part travel documentary series, "Wild Carpathia," presented by Charlie Ottley, offers a captivating journey into the heart of the Romanian Carpathian mountains. The first episode, focusing on Transylvania, serves as a compelling introduction to a region often perceived through myth rather than reality. Ottley guides viewers through breathtaking landscapes, revealing not only the stunning natural beauty but also the enduring, almost medieval, cultural tapestry of the area. The series highlights the significant ecological value of these largely untouched mountains, home to vital European wildlife like brown bears, wolves, and lynx. It's a valuable exploration for anyone interested in the confluence of nature, culture, and history, presented with a unique and personal insight.
