TOTEM

Cinemavixion Review

David DeCoteau's 'Totem' plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where six young individuals are inexplicably drawn to a secluded cabin, only to discover they are ensnared by an unseen force. The film masterfully builds suspense as the characters grapple with their manipulated actions and the sinister plot unfolding around them. With a narrative that explores themes of entrapment and external control, 'Totem' offers a unique take on the cabin-in-the-woods trope. The performances, particularly from Jason Faunt and Marissa Tait, anchor the escalating dread, making this a compelling watch for fans of supernatural thrillers seeking a descent into psychological horror.
