TOMMY MACHISMO

Cinemavixion Review

This short film, "Tommy Machismo," offers a lighthearted, albeit brief, look at the modern dating landscape through the eyes of its titular character. Following a painful breakup, Tommy, portrayed by Mustujab Kirmani, finds himself reluctantly dipping his toes back into the often bewildering world of online dating. With the assistance of his friend Cassie, played by Amanda Shafer, the film humorously explores the chaotic and unpredictable nature of finding new connections in the digital age. While the narrative touches on relatable themes of heartbreak and the search for companionship, its brevity leaves one wishing for a deeper exploration of Tommy's journey and the comedic potential of his dating misadventures.
