TODAY WE KILL, TOMORROW WE DIE!

Cinemavixion Review

Tonino Cervi's 'Today We Kill, Tomorrow We Die!' plunges viewers into the dusty, unforgiving landscape of the Spaghetti Western, elevated by a screenplay co-penned by the nascent Dario Argento. The film masterfully chronicles the grim pursuit of vengeance by Bill Kiowa, portrayed with stoic intensity by Brett Halsey, following an unjust imprisonment. The narrative gains significant grit and charm with the introduction of Bud Spencer as the formidable O'Bannion, a character whose imposing presence adds a unique dynamic to Kiowa's band of gunslingers. This is more than just a simple revenge tale; it's a study in the corrosive nature of vengeance and the bonds forged in the crucible of shared danger. With its authentic atmosphere and compelling performances, the film stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of the genre, offering a satisfyingly rugged cinematic experience.
